This lovely piece seems to have a sort of honey glow to it. The main elements are real amber, finished of with yellow jasper, Czech crystal beads and Czech glass beads.
Happy New Year everyone! To celebrate, I have made this lovely orange bracelet. I love how it turned out with the swirling browns and golds-it reminds me of tigers with their brilliant orange fur and piercing eyes. Wishing you all a great start to the year!
Carnival balls may are over, but the sparkles are still here… This is my entry to the Balls and Masks competition organised by Preciosa, makers of traditional Czech beads. Imagine my joy when I discovered that my piece had won first place! The prize was 1kg of their splendid beads. I loved making this set, and now I’m off to make some more! www.preciosa-ornela.com www.facebook.com/PreciosaOrnela
My first bracelet in this technique. I was surprised how many beads I needed. The technique is very time consuming, but the result is worth it. I am sure this will not be the last time I dabble in this technique.
Something new in my treasure box. This bracelet is made of hematite, crystal and glass beads, and of course soutache strings. It presents very nicely with casual clothing and when going out.
